Montana's Top 10 Violations Discovered

When testing for English Language Proficiency, in the report it comes back as 32 failed the driver questions, and 8 failed the sign tests, so combined it would have made #10 on the list but on the report it is 2 different violations so it separates them.
MCS 150/ Biennial Updates
Update from the Motor Carrier Services Division.
They will no longer process updates to MCS-150 forms on behalf of carriers. All updates must now be completed directly through this FMCSA Portal.
The MCS License and Permit Technicians still can provide assistance/guidance with how to use the FMCSA website, are available to assist and help troubleshoot the system problems. In an urgent situation, the License and Permit Supervisor will still have security in the system to correct the form or update it.

Will's Safety Message
A strong safety culture isn’t built by policies on paper; it’s built by people on purpose.
Every driver, mechanic, and dispatcher plays a part in shaping how safety feels on the job. When safety becomes part of your routine, and not just compliance, it creates an environment where everyone looks out for each other, whether it’s a pre-trip inspection in January cold or a quick reminder to chock the wheels before unloading.
Safety culture is contagious. When a driver checks in on a teammate or a shop hand reminds someone to wear eye protection, it spreads. Before long, it’s just how things are done. That’s when you know your culture is working.
Motor carriers who invest in safety culture don’t just protect their people, they keep freight moving, reduce downtime, and build pride across their team. It’s not about perfection; it’s about participation.
So, this week, look around your yard or cab and ask yourself; what kind of culture am I helping create today?
Stay Safe!
