The Associated Voice of The Montana Trucking Industry.
Dedicated to serving hardworking members.
Montana Trucking Association is a Non-Profit trade group and has served as the voice for Montana’s trucking industry since 1939. MTA is an affiliate of the American Trucking Association (ATA) and recognizes the ATA as the national representative for legislative, regulatory, and political matters.
The purpose of MTA is to promote the trucking industry, contribute to the improvement of the organizations and people working in the trucking industry, and protect the collective interests of trucking companies in the political and regulatory arenas within the state of Montana and the United States.
MTA is comprised of over 300 trucking companies and important industry suppliers working to meet the needs of the trucking industry in Montana through education, legislative advice, and lobbying on behalf of the trucking industry. These companies are a diverse group comprised of trucking companies, passenger carriers, agriculture, garbage haulers, construction and excavating companies along with many industry suppliers. We also provide member discounts on supplies and other products.
Each year at the MTA annual convention, MTA pays tribute to the dedication and commitment of its members by giving out safety awards to the top 3 recipients by safe mile categories, driver of the year, and carrier of the year.
